Synergy is a unique technology for use with automatic, or floating, feeders in any type pool. It is a self-contained system that gives you everything you need to maintain amazingly clear, comfortable water, all in a single box. And because of its effectiveness, there are only 2 products to add once a week to keep your pool sparkling and algae-free.

STARTING YOUR POOL ON SYNERGY

BALANCE THE WATER
TOTAL ALKALINITY should be adjusted to 125-150 ppm. To raise total alkalinity use OMNI ALKALINITY INCREASER per label directions.

CALCIUM HARDNESS should be adjusted to 200-275 ppm for plaster pools and 175-225 ppm for painted, vinyl or fiberglass pools. To raise calcium hardness use OMNI CALCIUM HARDNESS INCREASER per label directions.

METALS should be absent in your pool water. If metal is present in the pool or in your source water, treat the pool with OMNI STAIN AND SCALE CONTROL per label directions.

STABILIZER levels should be less than 200 ppm.

CLEAN your automatic feeder and remove all other chemicals from the skimmer and feeder. Turn the automatic feeder to the lowest possible setting before you start up on the Synergy System.

ADD SYNERGY INITIATOR with the pump and filter running at the rate of 5 lbs. for every 4,000 gallons of pool water. Apply SYNERGY INITIATOR by slowly pouring directly into the pool skimmer. Do not backwash the filter for 48 hours, and allow 4 to 8 hours of circulation (pump running) after application.

SUPER-CHLORINATE to remove any chlorine demand from the water by adding OMNI BREAKOUT 60 at a dosage rate of 1 lb. for every 10,000 gallons of pool water. Test for free chlorine 24 hours after shocking. If your pool water does not have a minimum of 2 ppm free chlorine, repeat the super-chlorination procedure.

WEEKLY ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

TEST free-chlorine sanitizer and pH using your 4-WAY TEST STRIPS. If necessary, adjust pH to 7.2 - 7.6. If sanitizer level tests below 1 ppm, slightly open your feeder to maintain a 1.0 - 1.5 ppm sanitizer level.

ADD SYNERGY TABS once a week by carefully filling the feeder per the manufacturer's directions. If the feeder is not a floating type, turn off the pump before opening the feeder and stand to the side when removing the lid.

ADD SYNERGY CLEAR at the rate of 1 half container per 10,000 gallons of pool water once a week. With the pump running, broadcast SYNERGY CLEAR* into the deep end of the pool. Use a pool brush to disperse any granules which may have settled to the bottom of the pool.

*Swimming may resume 15 minutes after applying SYNERGY CLEAR.
